FATU FORNAH, BSN, RN
Fatu Fornah, founder and CEO of Robertson Homecare and Residential Services, LLC, is a behavioral health and developmental services expert with more than a decade of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Robertson, Fatu’s vision is to support individuals with intellectual disabilities to live as independent, fully integrated members of their communities.
Fatu is passionate about the value of community-based health care, and she believes strongly in the importance of having well-managed, well-crafted, well-designed communities as the best way to bring happiness, security, confidence, and competency to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
At Robertson, Fatu has established a healthcare community that focuses on a broad range of services, maximally sensitive to the unique needs of all residents. Fatu herself brings a wealth of experience providing in-home as well as community-based support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
With a BS in Nursing from Stratford University, Fatu is also a Registered Nurse with a Compact State Nurse License and the District of Columbia. In addition, she has certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as CPR and NIH Stroke certification. She has worked primarily with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and day support programs. Fatu is also experienced in areas such as Acute Care, Critical Care, and Long-term care as a Registered Nurse.

Robertson’s Homecare and Residential Services LLC is dedicated to improving the quality of Life for adults with developmental disabilities through increased access to integrated life choices including residential, employment, and recreational needs. We are obligated to promote choices and protect the rights of the people we support.

Philosophy
Robertson’s Homecare and Residential Services philosophy of service is based on the principle that all individuals deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and be assured the maximum opportunities for self-determination. This means that persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities should have the same options as non-disabled members of the community.
